Guests will also visit Jola communities in Foni Kansala and learn about the cultural traditions associated with the historic Futampaf heritage, one of the region’s most significant cultural practices. Through EGI’s community relationships and local partnerships, participants will enjoy traditional music, dance, storytelling, cultural demonstrations, and a welcoming naming ceremony that celebrates friendship, cultural exchange, and connection. Throughout the journey, travelers will engage with local residents, artisans, community leaders, and cultural custodians while enjoying authentic cuisine, meaningful conversations, and immersive experiences that go far beyond traditional sightseeing.
